The UARS UKMO assimilation product is available only for 12Z.
The circle on the maps is a 2400-km range ring centered on Kiruna, Sweden (67.84N, 20.41W). We bisect this circle along three lines whose northern ends are in the WNW, N, and ENE bearings; vertical transsections along these lines are plotted. The vertical white line on these transsection plots marks Kiruna.
